Quia Announces Close of San Lucas Gold Property and Grant of Stock Options

Quia Resources Inc. ("Quia" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:QIA) announces that
it has closed the previously announced sale of its subsidiary, San Lucas Gold
Corp, which holds the San Lucas gold property in Colombia, as an expedited
acquisition under policy 5.3, section 3.1. (see press release dated June 19,
2014). The transaction is an arm's-length transaction and no finder's fee is
payable in connection with the agreement. 


Stock Option Granted

The Company has granted 1,525,000 incentive stock options for the purchase of a
total of 1,525,000 common shares of the Company at a price of $0.10 per share,
vesting quarterly until fully invested and expiring on July 17, 2019 pursuant to
the terms of the Company's stock option plan.
