RJK Begins Follow-Up Drilling at Blackwater North East High Grade Silver Discovery

PR Newswire (Canada)
RJX.A KIRKLAND LAKE, ON, Sept. 20, 2012 /CNW/ - RJK Explorations
Ltd. (RJX.A: TSV) ("RJK") has started drilling at the site of its
high grade silver discovery on the Blackwater Northeast property,
located in the Blackwater Gold Camp approximately 100 km southwest
of Vanderhoof, B.C. This claim group is contiguous to the east of
New Gold Inc.'s Blackwater bulk tonnage gold deposit currently
shown at 9.6 million ounces gold (indicated and inferred) and 58.4
million ounces silver (indicated and inferred). The Company's
silver discovery in June was a high grade intersection of 3.3m of
2,710 gm/t silver (10.8 ft of 79.04 oz/t silver) with true widths
unknown. Since then, detailed ground magnetic surveying, drill hole
interpretation and MMI soils suggests a north westerly striking,
steeply to vertically dipping contact between the felsic volcanics
and sediments. The MMI soil sampling also indicates a weak silver
anomaly in deep overburden along this contact over a tested strike
length of approximately 600 meters. This drilling program will
consist of a series of angled holes starting from the discovery
hole to test this contact. At Blackwater West, approximately 18.5
km of Phase-Domain Induced Polarization surveying and MMI soil
sampling was recently completed over four grids. Interpretation by
the company's consulting geophysicist indicates that there is a
significant volume of potential sulphide mineralization on all four
grids, particularly on Grid 4 located at the southern part of the
property. On Grid 4, a resistive and chargeable corridor that
contains a 350 meter-wide north-south by 600 meter-long open ended
anomaly has been outlined. MMI soil sampling results also indicate
a Zinc, Silver and erratic Gold anomaly here. It is believed that
the geophysical anomaly located on Grid 4 may be an extension of
the mineralization located on the 3Ts Property, located just 3 km
to the south where Independence Gold has announced a total inferred
resource of 394,383 oz gold and 9,894,835 oz silver. All the
anomalies on Blackwater West are open to expansion by further
geophysical work and RJK anticipates drill testing these highly
potential areas with the same drill crew following the completion
of drilling on Blackwater Northeast. Fred Sharpley, PGeo., the
qualified person for the Blackwater Project has reviewed and
approved the technical information contained in this release.
