CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Apr 29, 2014) - Rainmaker Mining Corp. (TSX-VENTURE:RMG) ("Rainmaker") is pleased to announce the voting results from its Annual General Meeting of shareholders held on April 28, 2014 at Le Soleil Executive Hotel in Vancouver, BC.

A total of 4,113,658 common voting shares representing 22.93% of Rainmaker's issued and outstanding shares were voted at the meeting and all votes were cast in favour of all items of business placed before the meeting giving rise to the following being re-elected as Directors:

The voting results from all other resolutions provided for in the Management Information Circular will be filed with the Canadian Securities Regulatory Authorities at www.sedar.com.

At the first Directors meeting held following the AGM Rick Patmore was appointed Chairman of the Board and President; Alan Young was appointed Interim CFO and Judy A. McCall was appointed Corporate Secretary. In addition incentive stock options were granted to Director's, Officers and Consultants exercisable over a period of 3 years at a price of $0.15 under the Incentive Stock Option Plan approved by shareholders at the AGM. The grants are subject to the 2014 Stock Option Plan being accepted for filing by the TSX Venture Exchange.

The Company further announces that it will be filing for Exchange approval to a change of Corporate name from Rainmaker Mining Corp. to Rainmaker Resources Ltd. The name change will be effective on a date to be coordinated with the TSX Venture Exchange subject to Exchange approval.
