Saturn Minerals Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SMI)(FRANKFURT:SMK) ("Saturn" or the
"Company") is pleased to announce the completion of the first phase of a 2D
seismic survey (the "Seismic Survey" or "Survey") over oil & gas Exploration
Permit 71 (the "Little Swan Property") in the northern Williston Basin in
eastern Saskatchewan. The 15 km long vibroseis line in the strike direction was
completed by GeoStrata Resources Inc. of Calgary, Alberta under the supervision
of Vector Exploration Corp.

The Seismic Survey was designed to test the presence of large-scale structural
anomalies on the northwest section of the Little Swan Property as interpreted
from a 2012 airborne gravity and electro-magnetic survey. The Company is pleased
to announce that preliminary processing of the Seismic Survey results indicate
that the seismic line crosses over three significant basement structures. Each
of the structures positively impacts several sedimentary formations above the
Precambrian basement including Ordovician sandstones and the complete Ordovician
to Devonian carbonate succession. These results support the Company's geological
model for identifying potential oil bearing traps in the northern Williston
Basin that may be related to nearby oil shows and oil seeps. The Company is very
encouraged by these results and plans to follow up with additional 2D seismic
and drilling.

Documented live oil shows in nearby well bores and oil seeps at surface in
eastern Saskatchewan, including Saturn's 2010 oil seep discovery (see Saturn
News Release, October 26, 2011), in conjunction with the structural features
imaged on the seismic line contribute to the potential of the northern Williston
Basin and provide Saturn with confidence of encountering oil bearing traps
containing economic accumulations of light oil within the sedimentary package
underlying the Little Swan Property. Vector Exploration Corp. will also be
providing a full geophysical and geological interpretation of the newly acquired
seismic data as required by the Petroleum & Natural Gas Regulations of
Saskatchewan.

In addition to the Little Swan Property held under oil & gas exploration permit
71, Saturn also holds the Bannock Creek Property under oil & gas exploration
permit 72 which together encompass 370,000 acres of exclusive oil & gas rights
in the northern Williston Basin. The properties are subject to an agreement with
Vector Exploration Corp. (see Saturn News Release, November 27, 2012) whereby
Vector Exploration has a 5% interest in the properties.
