Suroco Energy Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SRN) (the "Corporation") announces the grant of
options to acquire a total of 2,905,000 common shares ("Common Shares") of the
Corporation at an exercise price of $0.37 per share, such options to vest
immediately and expire five years from the date of grant. Options to acquire
1,395,000 Common Shares were granted to directors and officers of the
Corporation, options to acquire 200,000 Common Shares were granted to a director
and officer of a subsidiary of the Corporation and options to acquire 1,310,000
Common Shares were granted to employees of the Corporation.
