Semcan Inc. (TSX VENTURE:STT) ("Semcan" or the "Company") announced today that
Mr. Remy Stachowiak, President of the operating division STT Stanco, has left
the Company as of October 10, 2012.


As a result of Mr. Stachowiak's departure, the Company will make some changes to
its organizational structure. At the senior level, Mr. John Greig will be
promoted to President of the newly defined STT Stanco Tanks division, reporting
directly to David Deacon, CEO. Fraser Bringeland will become Director of Sales
and Darren Farnworth will become Director of Business Development for STT
Stanco, and both will also report directly to the CEO.
