Superior Mining International Announces Management Change

Superior Mining International Corporation (TSX VENTURE:SUI) (the "Company" or
"Superior") announces that John Proust has resigned as Executive Chairman and
Director of the Board of Superior Mining International to pursue other
interests. The Company thanks Mr. Proust for his effective leadership and
efforts at Superior Mining International. Mr. Proust will retain an advisory
role with the Company.
