Evergreen Gaming Corporation: Washington State Gambling Allows Extended Hours of Operation for Casinos

Evergreen Gaming Corp. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:TNA) announces that the
Washington State Gambling Commission has adopted a rule change on hours of
operation. The rule change, which takes effect on July 1, 2008, allows for 24
hour gaming 5 days per week. This means that the Company's casinos must be
closed for only 4 hours 2 days per week. The days of closure are at the
discretion of the Company. Currently, the Company's casinos are required to
close 4 hours per day every day.


With this change, the Company's 11 casinos will be permitted to stay open for an
additional 220 hours, cumulatively, per week. An additional advantage is that
players will no longer have to leave the Company's casinos at closing time on
busy nights. The Company may also be able to take advantage of operational
efficiencies stemming from Company casinos located next door to each other that
currently have overlapping hours. The decision to implement extended hours at
each of the Company's casino locations will be made by management over the next
several weeks, based on customer demand.


SILVER DOLLAR CASINO, TUKWILA CELEBRATES ITS 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Evergreen Gaming is also pleased to announce the 10 year anniversary of the
Silver Dollar Casino in Tukwila. The casino features 10 Las Vegas style table
games including Fortune Pai Gow, Lucky Ladies and Four Card Poker.


The celebration will take place on Saturday June 7, 2008 and will feature a Luau
style buffet and the Islanders performing steel drum music. Seattle's premier
party band, Deja Groove, will play the fun side of Pop, Rock, Wave, R&B and
Disco music. There will be over $5,000 in cash and prizes given away. Cash
drawings ranging from $50 to $500 will be held throughout the day, and there
will be a $1000 Added Blackjack Tournament.

STOCK OPTIONS GRANTED

The Company has granted to an employee a stock option for the purchase of 25,000
common shares of the Company at $0.75 per share, exercisable on or before
October 29, 2012.
