Tres-Or Resources Ltd. ("Tres-Or") (TSX VENTURE: TRS) is exploring
the East Mac Property ("East Mac") in Duverny Township comprising
10 mineral claims covering 570 hectares in the Abitibi region of
northwestern Quebec. East Mac is located 7 km south Tres-Or's
advanced Duvay Gold Project, and 9 km northeast of the town of
Amos. Quartz veins carrying gold and silver were discovered on the
property in the 1930s which led to construction of a shaft,
according to reports filed with the Quebec government (GM 59252).
Historic drill results filed with the Quebec government (GM 8204)
report drill intersections of 1,481.9 grams per tonne (g/t) silver
(Ag) and 2.4 g/t gold (Au) over 0.1 m and 12.3 g/t Au over 0.2 m.
Tres-Or prospected, mapped and collected two samples near the site
of the old shaft, which is now covered with a cement cap. These two
samples returned high gold (Au), silver (Ag) and lead (Pb)
concentrations, as well as anomalous copper (Cu) and zinc (Zn). For
details refer to maps of the Duvay Gold Project and East Mac
Property at:
http://www.tres-or.com/Amos-East-Mac-Duvay
The high concentrations in one of these samples (EMACLLD#1) are
10.5 g/t Au, 345 g/t Ag and 1.14% Pb (Table 1). This sample was
taken from the dump pile near the old shaft. The second sample
(EMACLLD#2) was collected from an outcropping quartz vein and
returned 62 g/t Ag, along with anomalous values of the other
metals. The samples were selected as "grab" samples to try and
confirm mineralization within the shaft and surrounding area, but
it should be noted that the samples referred to in this news
release are selective by nature, and thus unlikely to represent
average grades on the property.
Tres-Or cannot confirm the historical reports nor know true
thickness of the mineralization, but the new results are consistent
with high gold and silver concentrations previously reported from
veins in the shaft.
Table 1: Tres-Or surface grab samples selected at East Mac from
the dump near the old shaft and an exposed quartz vein near the
shaft.

The gold analyses reported above are by fire assay with a
gravimetric finish (for those greater than 1.5 g/t Au) or atomic
absorption (AA) finish (for those less than 1.5 g/t Au). The
Tres-Or sample analyses were completed at Activation Laboratories
Ltd. ("Actlabs") in Ancaster, Ontario, which is an independent ISO
rated facility for mineral analyses. The samples were first
analyzed for 59 trace elements by aqua regia digestion and mass
spectrometry (AR-MS) at Actlabs. The same lab then completed assays
for Au, Ag and Pb for samples which returned high values over the
limits for trace geochem analyses.
Following the successful site visit to the East Mac shaft,
Tres-Or has increased its claims holding in the area by purchasing
the contiguous East Mac Sud property from Sementiou, Inc.
("Sementiou"). The combined East Mac and East Mac Sud properties
comprise 45 claims and cover 2301 hectares in Duverny Township,
near Amos. Tres-Or will pay to Sementiou a cash payment of $50,000
and complete $75,000 of approved exploration work within 36 months
to earn a 76% interest in the East Mac Sud Property. Sementiou
retains 24% and no royalty applies.
Tres-Or entered into a property option agreement (the "Option
Agreement") dated December 21, 2009 with Sementiou, Inc. (the
"Optionor") whereby the Optionor granted the Company the exclusive
right to acquire up to an undivided 76% right, title and interest
in 11 different groups of project claims, including the East Mac
property, all located in the Abitibi-Temiscamingue region of
northwestern Quebec (see news release dated January 21, 2010).
Tres-Or is the project Operator.
Laura Lee Duffett, President and CEO of the Company, a qualified
