The Alkaline Water Company Inc. (NASDAQ and TSXV: WTER), a leading producer of premium bottled alkaline drinking water sold under the brand name Alkaline88®, today announced that its President and CEO, Richard A. Wright, has been invited to present at the 2019 Beverage Forum on May 1, 2019. The 2019 Beverage Forum is scheduled from April 30, 2019, to May, 1, 2019, at the Swissotel Chicago in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Wright will participate in the Cannabis Panel, which is titled Unearthing the Future of Cannabis in Beverages.

In late 2018, The Alkaline Water Company (“Company”) announced its intention to utilize its already established nationwide retail footprint to launch A88 Infused Beverage Division Inc., to introduce flavored Alkaline88® water and flavored hemp-extract infused Alkaline88® water under the brand name Soothe. Together with the help of Brian Sudano, an Alkaline88® director and the moderator of the Cannabis Panel, the Company partnered with industry leaders to create great tasting first-to-market, flavored and hemp-extract infused beverages. Coincidentally, some of these partners are also attending and speaking at the 2019 Beverage Panel. The Company has begun to strategically map out the first states for its Soothe brand to be initially available for purchase.
