STOCKHOLM--Atlas Copco said Tuesday that it has acquired Extend3D, a company based in Munich, Germany, that develops and produces augmented reality systems.

The Swedish industrial tool maker said the acquired business has 16 employees and had revenue of around 3 million euros ($3.3 million) in 2022.

Extend3D's augmented reality systems include 3D video and laser projectors which support manufacturing processes.

The purchase price wasn't disclosed.
