Cook, Jr. is an internationally renowned Registered Professional Geologist and Mineralogist, with close to half a century of experience as an exploration geologist and mining engineer. Dr. Cook's list of clients reads as a who's who in the field of mining and metals exploration. He is now a Professor Emeritus at the Department of Geology and Geography, Auburn University where he had been Chair for twenty-two years.
