Data Evolution Corporation, a subsidiary of Data Evolution Holdings, Inc. (OTC.PK:DTEV), announced today that the release date for the Clio(R) NXT and the Cathena(TM) has been moved to the fall of this year due to engineering delays. "We are working with our major customers, partners, and beta sites to transition to the new delivery date," said Robert Sowah, Chief Executive Officer of the Company. The engineering delays also caused the Company to cancel its scheduled appearance at the 2005 National Education Computing Conference, which was held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from June 28-30, 2005. "Our primary reason for attending the NECC was to expose the education technology market to the full capabilities of the Cathena and the Clio NXT. As the devices were not fully functional in time for the convention, we made the decision to withdraw from the show rather than exhibit something that was not perfect," said Sowah.
