PR Newswire (US)
TORONTO, Dec. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Hat Trick Beverages, Inc.
(HKBV) has announced the termination of its agreement for a "Cold
Beverages Division" and association with Mr. Lawrence Twombly, of
Encinitas, California. The Company had previously entered into a
certain agreement with Mr. Twombly, where amongst other things,
Twombly would operate Pumped Fitness, Road Kill, Dos Lagos, Super
Buzz and Buzzy's Coffee on a profit type arrangement The company
was very forward thinking and upward mobile in its hopes and
aspirations that this profit sharing arrangement would exceed
$200,000.00 per annum. However, because of economic and other
circumstances, and because no profits had been generated under the
agreement, on November 10, 2008, Hat Trick by letter to Mr. Twombly
terminated its association with him. "Things did not work out as
expected," Hat Trick CEO Sender Vaiser said in a prepared
statement. "We had hoped to take advantage of the association with
Mr. Twombly to develop a Cold Beverages Division for Hat Trick.
However, we have undergone a change of direction and Hat Trick at
this time has decided not to move forward in the marketing of cold
beverages. We have informed Mr. Twombly that he is free to market
these cold beverages on his own, but Hat Trick will not be a part
of those efforts and will not in any way be associated with those
efforts. We wish Mr. Twombly all the best, but our immediate focus
at Hat Trick, at least for the time being, will be to move in
another direction." Safe Harbor statement under the Private
