Kone Secures Major Order for Terminal 3 Expansion at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas

CHICAGO, September 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- KONE received a
major order to supply and install KONE EcoSystem MR(TM) elevators,
KONE ECO3000(R) transit escalators and KONE autowalks for the new
Terminal 3 at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, USA.
Once installed, the KONE solutions will be an integral part of
McCarran's facility plans that enable safe and efficient handling
of massive people flows of over 50 million passengers per year. The
value of the deal is approximately EUR 32 million. "We are thrilled

new terminal building with an elevated roadway structure fronting

installation of KONE's solutions is expected to start in the fall
of 2009 and is estimated to be completed by December 2011. With
