FRANKURT--German premium sportscar manufacturer Porsche AG said
its global growth continued in September, with another rise in new
cars delivered.
In September, Porsche delivered 15,800 new cars to customers,
marking a 22% increase compared with September 2013. In the first
nine months, Porsche delivered 135,600 new cars, up 13% from the
same period a year ago.
China marked the biggest delivery increases both in September
and in the period January through September.
Porsche delivered 32,592 cars in China in the first nine months,
up 19%.
September deliveries in China rose 54% to 4,344 cars. In Europe,
growth rates were 14.8% in the nine months, and 4.1% in September.
German deliveries were up 11.9% both in January through September
and in September alone.
