MCLEAN, Va., June 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- QinetiQ North
America announced today it was awarded the Department of Homeland
Security (DHS) Tactical Communications and Services contract for
installation, operations and maintenance of tactical communication
systems.
QinetiQ North America is one of 11 primes in the Operations and
Maintenance Services Unrestricted category (Technical Category 4).
The contract is sponsored by DHS and is available to other federal
civilian agencies, including the Departments of Justice and the
Interior, the State Department and the White House Communications
Agency.
Under the contract, QinetiQ North America will offer Land Mobile
Radio and Voice over Internet Protocol network maintenance and
support to DHS and its 22 bureau directorates, as well as other
federal agencies.

The indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract has a
two-year base and three one-year options with a total ceiling value
of $3 billion.
