Early in the development of its energy-saving innovation, Cool-n-Save, Greenway Design Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GDGI) introduced a patented and environmentally friendly water treatment system called Cool Release™.

"Cool Release protects misting and air conditioning equipment from sediments and minerals found in city water supplies," says Darius Jakubik, Greenway's senior vice president. "It features a nontoxic chemical mineral dispersant used in industrial applications. In commercial applications, the chemistry tablets are installed in screw-on canisters and periodically replenished. Greenway also packages the chemistry in 3- and 6-month disposable cartridges for the Cool-n-Save residential kit.

In regions where city water supply has very high mineral content, Greenway offers the HERO™ (High Efficiency Reverse Osmosis) filtering system. Reverse osmosis virtually eliminates nearly all minerals and sediments from the water. Additional filters condition the water even further.
