SGS (SGSN.VX) said Friday it acquired Belgium's Exprimo NV for an undisclosed sum, to expand its services and technologies in life sciences.

MAIN FACTS:

-Exprimo is a European life science consultancy company with strong focus in the application of quantitative, model-based simulations during all stages of pharmaceutical development.

-Founded in 2002 and privately owned, Exprimo employs 16 experts in Belgium, United Kingdom, Sweden, The Netherlands, France and Switzerland. In 2011, they generated revenues in excess of EUR3 million.
