Linde PLC said Monday it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Italian energy-infrastructure company Snam SpA to develop clean hydrogen products in Europe.

The industrial-gases and engineering company said the two companies will work to promote technologies along the hydrogen value chain in Europe, and create opportunities for joint investment in commercial projects in production, distribution, compression and storage.
