Southern Trust Securities Holding Corp. (OTCQB:SOHL) ("STSHC"), a financial services company offering broker-dealer, investment banking, and investment advisory and wealth management services, announced today that Dan Sullivan has been appointed Senior Vice President of STSHC.

Mr. Sullivan will be in charge of the U.S. and European based institutional futures operations of STS's wholly owned broker dealer subsidiary Southern Trust Securities, Inc ("STS"). He will also be actively involved with STSHC to build their overall securities businesses and to increase STSHC's shareholder value. Mr. Sullivan has more than 27 years experience in the institutional futures business with firms such as MF Global Inc., ICAP Futures, LLC and Refco, Inc. More specifically, he helped start and build the Refco, Inc. institutional futures desk in Germany from 1987 to 1996 as well as the MF Global Inc. London desk from 1996 to 2009.
