Vestas Wind Systems AS said Friday that it has secured a 50-megawatt order from Prime Capital AG for the Lappfjard Extension project in Kristinestad, Finland.

The order consists of eight V162-6.2 megawatt turbines and includes the supply, installation, and commissioning of the turbines as well as a 20-year service agreement, the Danish wind-turbine maker said.

Delivery and installation of the turbines is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2023 with commissioning scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2023, it said.

Financial terms weren't disclosed.
