Under the theme of "Diversity. It's The Way We Do Business," the company will host a week-long series of activities at its Auburn Hills, Mich. facility. "During the week-long celebration, we hope to educate employees on our company's commitment to diversity by showcasing its impact on all aspects of our business," said Monica Emerson, Executive Director - Corporate Diversity Office. "Diversity is integrated across the company -- from our supplier and dealer base to our community support to our internal business processes and talent recruitment. An inclusive workforce contributes to great products that meet the needs of a diverse customer base." Tom LaSorda, Chief Executive Officer; Eric Ridenour, Chief Operating Officer and Co-Chair of the Diversity Council; and Nancy Rae, Senior Vice President Human Resources and Co-Chair of the Diversity Council will kick-off the celebration on Monday, addressing employees about the pivotal role diversity plays in the way the Company does business. Together, they will deliver the Chrysler Group's commitment to inclusivity by launching a new diversity statement. Other activities during the week include a presentation by the U.S. Department of Justice on I-Safe, how to keep your family safe on the Internet; Understanding the Retail Dealer Development Program; Chrysler Group's commitment to revitalizing surrounding communities as well as a networking event hosted by the Women's Forum and a "Rise and Shine" discussion with Grace Gilchrist, Vice President and General Manager, WXYZ.
