is an opportunity for the core of our demographic -- 18-35 year
olds -- to gain invaluable information on financial empowerment."
"With rising tuition costs, the cost of books, gasoline, etc. young
people can't afford not to have financial know-how," said William
F. Jones Jr., Vice President - Chrysler Financial. "Chrysler
Financial's expert financial panelists join with Russell Simmons
and Dr. Chavis in our collaborative mission to help attendees
effectively manage their personal financial situations by providing
them with real life examples and a financial workbook to support
them in making the right choices." "We will celebrate the evolution
of hip-hop in Atlanta and throughout the South, as well as transmit
life-transforming real stories about wealth building and
entrepreneurship," declared Dr. Chavis. "I'm a firm supporter of
the Hip-Hop Summit Action Network," exclaimed Ludacris. "I'm just
trying to do my part in giving back and educating our youth on
important issues in the community." "I want to give back to the
kids who support my movement," stated Young Jeezy. "So it is
important to me to work with an icon such as Russell Simmons and
his Hip-Hop Summit Action Network to promote financial literacy at
the Atlanta Hip-Hop Summit." "Hip-hop transcends cultural borders
and we are excited to have Chingo Bling representing the Latino
community at the Atlanta Hip-Hop Summit on Financial Empowerment,"
