Pursuit Dynamics plc ("Pursuit" or the "Company")

                               Development Update

Existing technology enhanced to create the PDX Homogeniser, significantly
expanding the market potential for Pursuit's technology

Pursuit Dynamics plc has developed and successfully tested a unique,
un-pressurised 25 mm bore homogeniser for use in the process industries.
Homogenisers are an integral part of a number of processes, including the food,
dairy, chemical, pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Based on published
sources, Pursuit estimates the annual global food processing machinery market
alone is currently worth US$18 billion.

The system, known as the PDX Homogeniser, is a breakthrough in homogenisation
and mixing technology. It is a continuous flow system, capable of generating
emulsions with a particle size below one micron at a rate of 10,000 litres per
hour whilst dispersing, heating and homogenising high volumes of large-particle
solids. The system utilises the disruptive effects of a controllable supersonic
shock zone in a parallel sided 25 mm bore and is therefore not subject to the
problems of blocking and solids handling restrictions which are usual in high
pressure homogenising systems.

The PDX Homogeniser operates as its own pump and utilises no moving parts, which
should markedly reduce downtime and through-life costs when the system is in
service. Additionally the system has a considerably smaller footprint, and is
much quieter, than existing technologies.

Pursuit is now engaged in actively marketing this new system. In addition to
the conventional markets for the PDX Homogeniser, Pursuit will also target high
shear mixers in industries requiring homogenisation of highly viscous process
flows that contain high volumes of solids.

John Heathcote, CEO of Pursuit Dynamics, commented: "We have successfully
developed a new product with applications that stretch across a number of
industries. The clear performance and operating advantages evident in the PDX
Homogeniser, and the initial reaction from various industries to this new
development, give us confidence that the adoption rate by industry will be
rapid."

Notes to Editor:

* Pursuit has developed its PDX technology, which utilizes steam as the sole
motive power in an innovative process device that at its simplest can be viewed
as a pump with no moving parts that cannot be blocked.

* The PDX technology has many applications in both the industrial processing and
marine propulsion markets. Pursuit is currently focused on its steam powered
clear bore pumping system (the "PDX system") which can be used in a wide range
of industries including: confectionery; nuclear; oil; personal healthcare; food;
paper and pulp; brewing; wastewater; defence; ballast water.

* The Company has invested heavily in its technology and is now actively
pursuing the commercialisation of its applications.

* The PDX system replaces several devices in a process; consequently it offers a
number of significant advantages, such as simpler processes, lower running costs
and virtually no maintenance. Pursuit is pursuing a capital efficient licensing
based model that will enable industry leaders to exploit the PDX technology.

* Pursuit listed on the AIM Market London Stock Exchange in May 2001.
