Credit Agricole: Jean-Yves Hocher to Retire as CEO of CIB Unit at Year-End

Credit Agricole SA (ACA.FR) said Wednesday that the head of its
corporate and investment banking unit is retiring at the end of the
year.
Mr. Jean-Yves Hocher will be replaced by Jacques Ripoll, who
will join the bank September 3.
Mr. Ripoll, a former Banco Santander SA (SAN.MC) manager, will
take up his new responsibilities at the end of the year, when Mr.
Hocher leaves.
Aside from taking over as CEO of Credit Agricole CIB, Mr. Ripoll
will also be in charge of Credit Agricole's large clients division,
the bank said.
Credit Agricole also said that its board appointed two new
deputy managing directors of CIB and reshuffled some general
management responsibilities at the unit.
