                                    Placing


Host Europe PLC ("Host Europe" or the "Company") has placed 15,000,000 new
ordinary shares of 1 pence (the "New Shares") at a price of 1.225 pence per
share, raising #183,750 before expenses.  The New Shares represent 1.27% of the
enlarged share capital of the Company.  Application will be made to AIM for
admission of the New Shares to trading, with dealings expected to commence on 12
August.
