National Lampoon Wraps Production on “National Lampoon’s Legend of Awesomest Maximus”

National Lampoon, Inc. (NYSE Alternext US:NLN), the most widely
recognized brand in comedy, announced today the completion of
principal photography on �National Lampoon�s Legend of Awesomest
Maximus�, the newest in-house produced feature film by the Company.
The film stars Mad TV�s Will Sasso (Less than Perfect, For Christ
Sake), Ian Ziering (90210), Kristanna Loken (Terminator 3), Sophie
Monk (Date Movie) and Rip Torn (Dodgeball), and is directed by Jeff
Kanew (Revenge of the Nerds). The project is a spoof of popular
�sword-and-sandal� films, such as 300, Troy, Gladiator, and
Braveheart, but is centered on the fresh and funny tale of
�Awesomest Maximus� (Will Sasso), an unconventional General who
reluctantly agrees to do whatever he can to ensure that he and his
nagging wife �Hottessa� (Loken) become the next King and Queen of
Troy. His villainous counterpart �Testiclees� is played by Ian
Ziering. Other notable cast members include Sophie Monk as
�Princess Ellen� and Tony Cox as �Minoritees�. There are also
supporting appearances from well-known comedians Ahmed Ahmed (You
Don�t Mess with the Zohan), Russell Peters (Quarter-Life Crisis),
the Sklar Brothers, and Eddie Pepitone (Old School). �We had a
