OnStar and GM Continue Work to Aid U.S. and Canada's Emergency Response System
18 Novembre 2008 - 12:53AM
PR Newswire (US)
What: In a live Web presentation, OnStar by GM will discuss a
significant safety milestone -- the 100,000th automatic crash
response prior to our nation's biggest travel day, Thanksgiving.
OnStar President, Chet Huber, invites members of the media to join
the online press conference, where they will hear firsthand from
people impacted by this technology -- from families whose lives
have been saved to the first responders and medical professionals
who helped. This technology continues to protect GM drivers and
improve quality innovation in GM vehicles. For example, OnStar, in
cooperation with the Centers for Disease Control, is building a
comprehensive analysis of vehicle crashes that will give
potentially life-saving information to emergency medical personnel.
