The Company has been notified that Clive Watson, Non-executive Director of Breedon has today purchased 25,000 ordinary shares of no par value in the Company ('Ordinary Shares') at a price of 77.4315p per Ordinary Share. As a consequence, Mr Watson now has an interest in 125,000 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 0.007% of the Company's total voting rights.

As at today there are 1,691,438,486 Ordinary Shares in issue, none of which are held in treasury. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, the share capital of the Company.
