--Proxy shareholder advisor Glass Lewis has advised investors in BHP PLC to vote against the miner's Climate Transition Action Plan at its upcoming annual shareholder meeting, citing room for improvement, the Financial Times reports.

--The advisor has raised concerns over the plan's scope and its alignment with the latest climate science, according to the FT.

--BHP, the world's biggest miner, earlier this month pledged to reduce direct carbon emissions by at least 30% over the next 10 years with a view to being net zero by 2050, the Financial Times reports.
