Lincolnshire Housing Partnership (LHP) (a registered Housing Association), a wholly owned subsidiary of Boston Mayflower Finance PLC, and Ongo Homes (Ongo) have decided not to proceed with their potential merger, following a period of due diligence.

In September this year, it was announced that LHP and Ongo were in discussions about a potential merger.

However, in a joint statement released today, the organisations' Chief Executives, Murray Macdonald (LHP) and Steve Hepworth (Ongo) said: "Following detailed discussions, LHP and Ongo have agreed that the two organisations can best serve their residents by remaining as separate entities and are therefore no longer intending to pursue merger discussions.
