Trigger of Discount Control Mechanism - Continuation Vote

In accordance with the Articles of Incorporation of the Company, and as a result of the Company's shares trading at a discount in excess of 5 per cent. to the published NAV per Share on each NAV Calculation Date in the 12 months leading up to and including 31 March 2012, a Continuation Resolution will be put forward to Shareholders at the 2012 AGM (expected to be held in September 2012).

The Continuation Resolution will be a single vote of all Shareholders of the Company combining the votes of the Sterling Shares and the Euro Shares.

The Board continues to consider a variety of discount control measures available to them and further details surrounding the Continuation Resolution and the AGM will be circulated to all Shareholders in due course.
