                              Exercise of Options 
 
 
African Diamonds announces that following an exercise of options over ordinary 
shares of 1p each ("the Options" and "Ordinary Shares" respectively) on 13 
August 2010 by a consultant engaged by African Diamonds in West Africa prior to 
2006, the Company has applied for 100,000 new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to 
trading on AIM. Admission is expected to occur on 6 September 2010. The Options 
were due to expire on 1 September 2010. Following the admission to trading of 
these new shares, African Diamonds will have a total issued share capital of 
100,457,266 Ordinary Shares. 
The above figure of 100,457,266 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders as 
the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are 
required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the 
Company, under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
