    Acuity VCT Plc announces that on 29 August 2008 the Company purchased 73,396 ordinary shares of 1p each for cancellation representing
0.26% of the issued share capital at a price of 54.5 pence per share.

    Following this transaction the Company now has 19,201,481 ordinary shares of 1p each and 9,093,156 C shares of 1p each in issue.
