                                 Board changes


CML Microsystems Plc ("CML"), which designs, manufactures and markets a broad
range of integrated circuits, primarily for global communication and data
storage markets, announces that the board changes referred to in the statement
to shareholders on 1 August 2007 became effective today.

George Gurry resigned from his executive position as joint Managing Director and
remains as Chairman in a non- executive capacity.

Chris Gurry takes on the role of sole Managing Director as of today.

Chris Gurry joined the group in 1994 and was appointed to the board in 2000 as
Business Development Director. Prior to joining CML, he worked within the
electronics industry and has over 20 years' experience within communications
markets.
