Cancellation of Treasury Shares 
 
Da Vinci CIS Private Sector Growth Fund Limited announces that on 19 December 
2008 it cancelled 11,484,188 non voting participating preference shares of 
US$0.01 (the "Shares") that were previously held in treasury following a share 
buy back on 30 September 2008. 
 
Following the cancellation of the Treasury Shares, the issued share capital of 
the Company was 103,357,692 Shares. The Company has no shares held in Treasury. 
 
On 16 January 2009 the Company repurchased 25,008,145 Shares pursuant to a 
Tender Offer. All of the Shares repurchased were cancelled and accordingly the 
current issued share capital of the Company is 78,349,547 Shares. Shareholders 
may use this figure as the denominator for the calculations by which they 
determine whether they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to 
their interest in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency 
Rules.
