                              TELECOMMUNICATION CO

EBT Mobile, a leading China-based retail chain selling mobile phones and related
products and services, is pleased to announce that its Chinese subsidiary, iAtoZ
Beijing Co., Ltd., has agreed to invest #0.17m in cash to own 50% of the equity
in Shanghai Jiaqi Telecommunications Co. ("Jiaqi"). Jiaqi was set up in January
2006 and is a China Telecom Shanghai authorised dealer in Shanghai, China's
largest city.

The joint venture provides EBT Mobile with the potential to explore business
opportunities in the fixed line arena as well as providing a full range of
telecommunication services to its customers in Shanghai.

Zhang Ge, CEO of EBT Mobile said: "We are delighted to announce the
establishment of this joint venture. Jiaqi currently has 8 stores in Shanghai
and can provide a range of fixed-line services to its customers. This will be
supplemental to EBT Mobile's current wireless products and services and accords
with our intention to develop a 3M (Multi-network, Multi-terminal, Multi
-service) package to our customers over time."

EBT Mobile expects to make further announcements in the near future in relation
to other planned uses of proceeds from the recent placing, as set out in the
announcement of 4 January 2007.
