                 Proposal to re-domicile the Company in Jersey



The Directors of the Company announce that they are considering proposals
whereby the Company would be re-domiciled in Jersey in order to achieve tax
efficiencies that would result in an increase in the amount of income available
for distribution to shareholders. The costs of implementing such proposals are
expected to be significantly less than the annual tax savings.



The Board therefore intends, following a process of consultation with the
Company's principal shareholders and subject to market conditions at the
relevant time, to bring forward for the approval of the Company's shareholders,
proposals for the Company to be re-domiciled in Jersey.  In the context of such
proposals, the listing of the Company's shares on the London Stock Exchange and
the New Zealand Stock Exchange is expected to be retained and no change is
anticipated to the investment objectives or policies of the Company.
