                                 Board Changes


The Directors of Libra Natural Resources plc, the international renewable
wood-to-energy company, announce that Michael Greenwood has resigned as
Non-Executive Chairman of LNR with immediate effect, in order to pursue other
business and personal interests in the mining and related sectors.

The Board wishes to thank Michael for his contribution during the course of the
last two and a half years and wish him well for the future.

Peter Greensmith, Chief Executive Officer, will assume the role of Interim
Chairman with immediate effect, pending the implementation of the re-focusing of
the Company, as referenced in LNR's Interim Statement of 28 September 2007.
