          Disposal of Swedish training business and
                       trading update

The Board of Skillsgroup is pleased to announce the recently
completed disposal of its small training business in Sweden,
QA  Training  AB on terms which will result in  no  gain  or
loss.   The  business made an operating loss of around  #0.2
million in 1999.  Together with the recently announced  sale
of  Synergica AB, this disposal is in line with the  Group's
strategic decision to focus management attention on the UK.

Following  the  end  of  the Group's financial  year  on  30
November 1999, the Board reconfirms its expectations for 25-
30%  earnings  growth from continuing businesses  (including
all  acquisitions) in 1999, consistent with the announcement
made  on  1 October 1999.  The Group's preliminary statement
of results is scheduled for release on 3 February 2000.

The  Group enters the new financial year with three  clearly
focussed  businesses, IT training, consultancy and  business
intelligence  solutions,  all well  placed  to  exploit  the
expected   growth  opportunities  -  particularly   in   new
technologies involving initiatives in web applications and e-
commerce activities.  Following the slow down in the  fourth
quarter of 1999, there are now clear  signs of  the expected
upturn in demand for our services post January 2000.
