(NASDAQ: SPEC), a leading designer and manufacturer of custom electronic products and systems, today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Spectrum Microwave, Inc., received a $3.3 million contract last week for a millimeter wave integrated assembly used in military ground tactical communication terminals. This follow-on contract, awarded by a major defense contractor, will commence production in late 2009 and run through 2010. Additional production releases are expected in 2010 and beyond. The Company's performance under this contract will be primarily conducted at its Marlborough, MA and State College, PA operations.
