Conversion of shares

The Company has received Conversion Notices in respect of the 30 September 2012 Conversion Calculation Date from shareholders as follows:

   Total number of shares converting from Sterling to US Dollar                         981 
   Total number of shares converting from Euro to Sterling                                  136,963 
   Total number of shares converting from Sterling to Euro                                  10,219 
   Total number of shares converting from US Dollar to Sterling                         1,296,203

The net asset values per share of the Sterling Shares, Euro Shares and US Dollar Shares as at 30 September 2012 were:

   Euro Shares                        EUR1.2139 per share 
   US Dollar Shares               $1.1234 per share

The following conversion ratios were used:

1.920108 US Dollar Share for each Sterling Share

0.723990 Sterling Share for each Euro Share

1.381235 Euro Share for each Sterling Share

0.520804 Sterling Share for each US Dollar Share

The following foreign exchange rates as at 30 September 2012 were used:

   EUR / USD      0.777303 
   EUR / GBP      0.796693

Shareholder CREST accounts for those shareholders for whom Conversion Notices have been received will be credited with new shares on 9 November 2012.

The Company has made an application to admit 774,226 Sterling shares, 14,114 Euro Shares and 1,883 US Dollar Shares to the official list of the UK Listing Authority and the Channel Islands Stock Exchange, and to trading on the London Stock Exchange and the Channel Islands Stock Exchange.

Following issue and cancellation of the relevant shares, the total number of shares in issue and voting rights in each class will be as follows:

   -    40,764,369 Sterling Shares 
   -    577,511 Euro Shares 
   -    1,718,785 US Dollar Shares

The total of these figures (43,060,665) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency rules.
