N-able Technologies today announced an OEM agreement with CA Technologies (NASDAQ: CA) designed to help managed service providers (MSPs) profitably meet the growing demand for complete remote IT management services.

Under the agreement, N-able will initially market and sell CA's Windows-based ARCserve D2D solution to its more than 2,000 MSPs worldwide, bundling the advanced disk-to-disk remote backup technology with its flagship N-central® remote network and systems management (NSM) platform.

In early 2011, N-able plans to introduce a fully integrated backup and offsite replication tool called Remote Backup Manager for N-central based on CA ARCserve D2D and CA ARCserve Replication.
