CMGE Has Been Authorized to Develop Mobile Games Based on Japanese Comics Fist of the North Star

China Mobile Games and Entertainment Group Limited ("CMGE" or the
"Company") (Nasdaq:CMGE), the largest publisher and a leading
developer of mobile games in China, today announced that it
has been authorized by North Stars Pictures Inc., ("NSP") to
develop mobile games based on the famous Japanese comics Fist
of the North Star.
Fist of the North Star, drawn by Tetsuo Hara and written by
Buronson, has been one of the most influential action comics came
from Japan in the 20th century. The masculine drawing style and
cool fighting scenes have won world-wide popularity and millions of
loyal fans. Fist of the North Star has been sold approximately 100
million copies around the world. Animation and games based on Fist
of the North Star have also achieved success, continuing the
expansion of its brand influence from the Asian market to the
global market.
Based on the intellectual property ("IP") of Fist of the North
Star, CMGE will develop and publish two mobile games in different
styles. "We really appreciate the IP owner's trust and recognition
