Corinthian Colleges Reports Departure of Admissions Executive

SANTA ANA, Calif., April 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Corinthian
Colleges, Inc. (NASDAQ:COCO) reported today that Richard Lee
Cochran Jr., executive vice president, admissions, has left the
Company, effective immediately. Cochran joined Corinthian in
October 2006. The search for a new admissions executive will begin
immediately. Until a permanent replacement can be found, the
Company's admissions leadership will return to its previous
reporting relationships within each division, with oversight from
Peter Waller, Corinthian's president and chief operating officer.
Separately, the Company reconfirmed its previous guidance that
start growth would be relatively flat in the FY 07 third quarter
compared with the same quarter of the prior year. The Company will
report its third quarter results on May 1, 2007 prior to market
