Corinthian Colleges Plans to Open New Bryman Institute in St. Louis
Metro Area - Company Continues Organic Growth With Third New Branch
Campus Announced for Fiscal 2005 - SANTA ANA, Calif., May 12
/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Corinthian Colleges, Inc. today announced
that it has signed a lease for a new Bryman Institute in Earth
City, Missouri that will offer education programs to prepare
students in the greater St. Louis metropolitan area for careers in
healthcare. The new facility will encompass approximately 30,000
square feet at 3420 Rider Trail South and is expected to open
during Corinthian's fiscal 2005 third quarter, which will end March
31, 2005. Bryman-Earth City will be Corinthian's second location in
Missouri, joining Springfield College-Springfield. "We are pleased
to expand our ability to serve increasing numbers of
career-oriented students and employers by bringing Bryman's allied
health curricula to the greater St. Louis metropolitan area," said
David G. Moore, chairman and chief executive officer. "We expect
the new Earth City campus will enable Corinthian to continue
building upon the well-known and well-respected Bryman name, while
ensuring area students have the skills required to meet workforce
demands. The move into the St. Louis area is consistent with our
successful organic growth strategy of opening campuses in
metropolitan areas with favorable demographics for our programs,
and we look forward to growing our business in Missouri." The new
Bryman-Earth City campus will initially offer diploma programs to
prepare students for jobs as medical assistants and medical
insurance billers/coders. Additional allied health programs are
planned. Corinthian expects the campus to have a student population
of approximately 400 within two years of its opening. Bryman
Institute in Earth City, Missouri is the third planned new campus
