Episode of TLC's Overhaulin' Show Highlights Corinthian's WyoTech Automotive Talents - WyoTech Students, Teachers and Alums Collaborate With Overhaulin' Team to Convert '56 Chevy to Sleek Custom Show Car at 9:00 p.m. EDT/PDT on May 18 - SANTA ANA, Calif., May 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- More than 30 of Corinthian Colleges' Laramie, Wyoming WyoTech (http://www.wyotech.com/) students, teachers and alums and the head of the WTI Foundation will be featured on The Learning Channel's (TLC) new Overhaulin' series on Tuesday, May 18, at 9:00 p.m. EDT/PDT. In each Overhaulin' episode, automobile designer Chip Foose leads a team of technicians in transforming an unsuspecting owner's "missing" auto into a unique custom car in just one week. Viewers get to watch the transformation completed by trim, chassis, engine, body and paint crews who work around the clock to give the car a dramatic makeover. The May 18 "School's Out" episode showcases Corinthian's WyoTech automotive talents as its Laramie team works with the Overhaulin' build team. The premise for the May 18 episode: Dale Eslinger, Director of the WTI Foundation (http://www.wtifoundation.org/), whose mission is to support, through scholarships, students pursuing an education in the automotive technologies at WyoTech, learns that a 1956 Chevy Bel Air donated to the Foundation is missing. Unbeknownst to Dale, the Overhaulin' Team -- with the help of the WyoTech team -- has taken the four-door hardtop to WyoTech's Laramie campus, where it is transformed into a sleek two-door roadster. Dale will be led on a wild goose chase during the week of the build and hear that the car was discovered crossing state lines on its way to a chop shop, while Overhaulin' makes use of the campus facilities and capable cast. Dale is finally led back to WyoTech, only to see a car that in almost no way resembles the one "stolen" just a week before. The funky, redesigned '56 Chevy, now a custom auto, will be showcased in various venues by WyoTech and the WTI Foundation to increase awareness of the Foundation's efforts to provide scholarship funding to deserving students. Corinthian's Blairsville, Pennsylvania, Laramie, Wyoming, and Sacramento, California WyoTech campuses offer a variety of automotive, diesel and automotive collision technician training.
