Corinthian Expands Nationally Recognized WyoTech Brand Name to Three Additional Campuses SANTA ANA, Calif., Nov. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Corinthian Colleges, Inc. (NASDAQ:COCO) today announced that it has strengthened its Titan Schools, Inc. division by expanding the WyoTech brand name to three additional campuses, including two Sequoia Institute campuses in Fremont and Oakland, California and the East Coast Aero Tech (ECAT) campus in Bedford, Massachusetts. These campuses will change their respective names to WyoTech- Fremont, WyoTech-Oakland and WyoTech-Boston. Corinthian acquired the Fremont campus in August 2003 as part of its acquisition of Career Choices, Inc. Corinthian also acquired the ECAT campus in August 2003. The Oakland campus became a branch campus of the Fremont campus in March of 2004. "Changing the names of these three campuses and transitioning them to our industry leading WyoTech brand name underscores their integration into the Corinthian network of colleges," said David G. Moore, Corinthian's chairman and chief executive officer. "The student and employer demand for high quality, employer oriented programs at the Fremont, Oakland and Boston schools will be enhanced by the nationally recognized WyoTech name, which we believe will expand the educational and career opportunities for current and prospective students. These three campuses will benefit from our plan to leverage the successful nationwide recruitment programs that WyoTech has already established at its schools in Blairsville, Pennsylvania; Laramie, Wyoming; and, Sacramento, California." Moore added: "We believe that having six campuses now operating under the nationally recognized WyoTech name positions us to better serve students seeking career-oriented education in the transportation repair and maintenance fields. This name change also creates important cost-effective synergies in marketing and advertising." WyoTech is part of Titan Schools, Inc., Corinthian's technical division, and now offers degree and diploma programs in automotive, aeronautical maintenance, diesel, collision/refinishing, heating/ventilation/air conditioning and plumbing technology.
