Ciprico�s dual channel, 4 Gb Fibre Channel 4210 RAID array will provide high performance and high capacity storage for DVC�s flagship ClipRecorder workstation, targeted at HD and 2K and 4K Digital Intermediate applications. The powerhouse combination is ideal for applications requiring sustained throughput performance and high availability like HD encoding for HD and BlueRay DVD; HD broadcasting; HD presentations & visualization; and 2K and 4K Digital Intermediate processing, editing and grading. DVC�s ClipRecorder is based on Drastic�s software technology. Drastic�s software provides Digital Disk Recorder (DDR) functionality for DVC�s ClipRecorder as well as Drastic�s third generation "New Titans" Series DDRs. The production proven software provides direct integration with VTR serial RS-422, server serial protocols and universal network interfaces.
